If you haven't signed up yet, I wanted to let you know that Chuck and I will be presenting the ever-popular "Your First DWI Case" Seminar on April 1, 2016. Minnesota CLE has been hosting this seminar for a while now, and it's a great opportunity to get familiar with a surprisingly complex area of criminal defense (or to just brush up if it's been a while since you've been in court on a DWI case).

You can sign up by clicking this link right here. By enrolling, Minnesota CLE will also give you a free year of access to the LinkedLaw eDeskbook version of the Minnesota DWI Deskbook (something you should already have if you are at all serious about handling a DWI case).

Remember, if you are a new lawyer (in your first three years of practice), a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, or already have a MinnCLE "Season Pass Discount" you'll likely be eligible for a discounted rate.

We'll be going through a broad overview of Minnesota's DWI laws, constitutional challenges, scientific challenges, and practical pointers for how to handle a DWI case, and the seminar will end with a Q&A bag lunch session for any questions we didn't have time to answer.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
