We Don't Just Use Our Knowledge to Fight DWIs, We Also Educate Others

The attorneys at Ramsay Law Firm have a national reputation to maintain - while we practice our particularly aggressive manner of DWI defense solely for our clients in Minnesota, both Chuck and Dan are authors of well-regarded books and key members of several nationally-renowned organizations.

Ramsay Law Firm earned its reputation by working overtime to make sure that its attorneys know more than anyone else in the field of DWI defense. That means visiting the manufacturer of the state's new breath test machine, and learning everything we can from the president of the company and the engineer responsible for designing it. That means attending the annual meeting of the American Academy of Forensic Scientists, and wrapping up the intense process of getting officially certified as a "Lawyer Scientist" from the "Chemistry and the Law Division" of the American Chemical Society (a non-profit, Congressionally-chartered scientific society).

But when we're not in Court . . .and we're not busy learning . . . we're spending what's left of our free time teaching. And this summer is chock full of education courses for other attorneys, judges, and individuals involved in the criminal justice system that we'd like to bring to your attention.

We've already talked about the annual MSCJ DWI Seminar - the absolute best resource for anyone who thinks they know how to defend a DWI case. That's on Friday, June 19.

But there's more:

-------------------------------------------------------

April 24, 2015: MN DWI Deskbook Webcast - as authors of the chemical testing chapter of this go-to guide for judges and lawyers, Chuck and Dan presented the ins and outs of blood, breath and urine testing in a one-and-a-half hour webcast. You may have missed it, but keep your eyes peeled - in the past, several of Chuck and Dan's webcasts have been made available on-demand even after the original broadcast.

June 15, 2015: Your First DWI Trial Chuck will explain the state of the law regarding warrantless searches and seizures in DWI cases, while Dan will explain the various factors that can enhance a DWI case.

August 17 & 18, 2015: Criminal Justice Institute - a fantastic multi-day seminar where we're teaching both a super breakout session and a separate one-hour presentation. Here's what last year's presentation looked like.

-------------------------------------------------------

That's almost one seminar per month, throughout the summer. Between these CLE's, getting more materials out to publishers, and other opportunities we can't release yet, this summer is full of opportunities to learn.

And if you're not a lawyer, or a judge, and are just looking at a defense attorney . . . why not hire the firm that other attorneys call when they have questions about a DWI case, and just cut out the middle man?
