Our client had chemical dependency issues in addition to severe physical ailments. He completed in-patient treatment and is doing well in recovery. We were able to arrange payment of the outstanding balances with a health insurance company, and our client paid the small remaining balance out-of-pocket. Based on the extraordinary efforts of G.D.G. to address his chemical dependency and given the balance was paid, the State filed a dismissal of the charges.
